Helping people find the clinic’s services

400%+ growth in ranking keyword coverage

Service-page improvements, refreshed content and internal linking supported a broader search presence for a chiropractic clinic.

The challenge

The clinic wanted stronger visibility for its services. The website needed to help people find the relevant information and understand what the clinic offered before making an enquiry.

The objective was broader than getting one page to appear for one search. The work focused on improving the service information across the website and connecting it with relevant supporting content.

That meant looking at the pages together: what each page explained, where information needed attention and how visitors moved between related subjects.

Our approach

The project concentrated on three connected areas: service pages, existing content and internal links.

The service pages needed to explain the clinic’s offering directly. Supporting content needed to contribute useful information rather than repeat those pages. Internal links needed to connect the two, helping visitors reach the service information relevant to their search.

This gave the content work a practical direction. Each improvement had to contribute to how the clinic’s services were represented across the website.

Improving the service pages

Service-page improvements focused on how the clinic described its offering. The aim was to help visitors understand the service they had found without having to piece together information from several unrelated pages.

The pages were considered as part of the wider website, rather than isolated landing pages. Their content needed to work alongside related information and provide an appropriate next step for someone considering contacting the clinic.

Refreshing existing content

Existing content was refreshed to support the service information.

The emphasis was on usefulness: improving explanations and keeping the content connected to the clinic’s services. Adding words alone was not the objective. Supporting pages needed a reason to exist and a relevant connection to the rest of the website.

Connecting related pages

Internal linking brought related information together.

For visitors, these connections provided routes from supporting content to the appropriate service page. For search engines, they helped explain the relationship between the website’s subjects.

This work supported the service-page and content improvements rather than operating as a separate exercise.

The result

Ranking keyword coverage increased by more than 400% across the measured comparison.

The result reflects an expansion in the keywords for which the website appeared in the reporting source.

It measures search coverage rather than appointments or revenue. Those business outcomes require separate records and should not be inferred from keyword growth alone.

What the project shows

A clinic’s search presence depends on more than a single optimised page. Service information, supporting content and internal links need to work together.

For this project, those were the main areas of work behind the reported expansion in keyword coverage.
