Free SEO Audit

Share your website, main services and target customers. We’ll examine selected pages, business information and visible technical issues, then explain which improvements deserve attention first. Account-level diagnostics, a full AI visibility baseline and implementation are quoted separately.

  • Important pages and accessWe check whether your main content is accessible and linked within the website, and look for visible settings that restrict search access.
  • Business and service informationYour service descriptions, company details and selected external profiles are checked for missing or conflicting information.
  • Customer questionsWe assess whether your pages answer the questions people ask when comparing providers, understanding a service and deciding whom to contact.
Before the first enquiry

Give customers more substance to base their decision on.

AI-assisted research brings together questions about services, providers and practical requirements. Your website should explain who you help, how the work happens and what supports your claims, so prospective customers have useful information to assess.

  • Explain what the service involves

Scope, suitability, responsibilities and next steps help people understand whether your business meets their needs.

  • Address the details customers compare

Your approach, relevant experience and service requirements deserve more than a brief mention in a sales paragraph.

  • Support expertise with evidence

Named specialists, documented work and approved examples give substance to the experience your business describes.

Research, content and search foundations

What our AEO & GEO service includes.

We connect customer research with improvements to your website and public business information. The scope sets out the priority topics, platforms, content and technical tasks, followed by a record of completed work and observed outcomes.

Assessment

Identify the questions that matter and the information already available.

  • Customer questions and research journeys

Your question map brings together service enquiries, sales conversations and search research. It connects important questions with existing pages and identifies gaps that need a useful answer.

  • Existing content and business information

We assess how your website and selected external sources describe your company, services and people. The findings identify missing details, unsupported statements and inconsistencies that need correction.

  • Documented visibility checks

An agreed set of questions establishes a starting point on the platforms included in your scope. Each check records the question, platform, date, observed answer and any references to your business or website.

Website improvements

Make your website a useful source of information about your business.

  • Crawlability and indexing

We investigate access restrictions, internal links and indexing issues affecting priority pages. With authorised account access, checks also cover relevant search controls, with fixes or developer instructions recorded against each finding.

  • Company, service and author information

Your pages should identify the business behind the service and the people responsible for its expertise. We improve company details, service explanations and relevant author or reviewer information using verified facts.

  • Original content from real expertise

Your team’s knowledge provides the substance: how you work, the decisions you make and the questions customers bring to you. We turn that input into approved service content, explanations and supporting resources.

  • Structured data

Relevant markup is checked against the information visitors see. We correct inaccurate or conflicting details and validate agreed changes, alongside the content improvements.

External information and monitoring

Keep public facts dependable and track the evidence available.

  • Business facts across sources

Your company name, services, contact details and genuine locations should remain consistent across relevant profiles and listings. We record corrections made and identify entries needing action from your team or the publisher.

  • Relevant supporting mentions

Industry contributions, useful resources and documented work provide reasons for other websites to reference your business. Agreed outreach follows our off-page SEO approach, with approaches and published coverage recorded separately.

  • Observable citations, visits and enquiries

Reports distinguish between a business mention, a cited page, a recorded visit and an enquiry. Each outcome is labelled so you understand what the evidence shows.

  • Methods and reporting context

Every report identifies the platforms, questions, sources and dates behind its findings. Changes in coverage or measurement are noted so comparisons remain meaningful.

The terms, explained

How AEO and GEO connect with SEO.

Answer engine optimisation and generative engine optimisation describe overlapping areas of search work. Often grouped under AI SEO, they build on a website’s content, technical foundations and wider search presence. Established SEO remains the foundation for Google’s AI search features. Other platforms have their own access rules and reporting, so recommendations are assessed against the platforms agreed in your scope.

  • SEO

Search engine optimisation: improving your website’s content, technical foundations and search presence so people find relevant pages.

  • AEO

Answer engine optimisation: work focused on helping people find useful answers to their questions through search and answer-led experiences.

  • GEO

Generative engine optimisation: work focused on how a business and its content appear within AI-generated answers, including the information and references used to describe it.

What we work on

  • Access to important website content.
  • Accurate company and service information.
  • Explanations that address customer decisions.
  • Original material drawn from your expertise.
  • Relevant, accurate structured data.
  • Corrections and legitimate references on external websites.

What AI platforms decide

  • Whether your business appears in an answer.
  • Which pages or sources receive citations.
  • How information is summarised.
  • How responses differ between questions and sessions.
  • When their systems and available features change.
How we work

Start with customer questions. Build from the evidence.

We connect the questions customers ask with the information your business publishes, then assess observable changes over time.

  1. Establish the starting point

Agree the services, audiences, platforms and questions to assess. Record existing visibility alongside the available search and analytics data.

  2. Identify the gaps

Compare customer needs with your website and selected public sources. Prioritise missing explanations, inconsistent facts and technical issues.

  3. Improve and verify

Prepare approved content, implement agreed corrections and check the resulting pages and information.

  4. Review the evidence

Repeat documented checks, examine available platform reports and review recorded visits and enquiries. Use the findings to set the next priorities.

Measurement and reporting

Follow the evidence from visibility to enquiries.

A mention, a website citation and a customer enquiry represent different outcomes. Your report identifies each measure, where it came from and what it tells us about progress.

  1. Platform reporting

Search Console’s generative AI performance report shows impressions from AI Overviews and AI Mode by page, country, device and date. A report may be absent when impressions are insufficient or the site is excluded. Clicks remain within the main Search performance reporting. Where included in scope, Bing Webmaster Tools adds citation reporting for its supported AI experiences.

  2. Recorded referral visits

Analytics identifies visits from AI tools that pass recognisable referral information. These figures describe recorded traffic, rather than every visit influenced by AI-assisted research.

  3. Documented answer checks

Repeated checks record whether your business was mentioned, which pages were cited and whether the description was accurate. Findings apply to the questions, platforms and sessions checked.

  4. Third-party observations

External visibility tools provide additional observations where included. Their platform coverage, question samples and methods are identified alongside the findings.

  5. Enquiries and customer feedback

Tracked enquiries and customer-reported discovery sources help connect visibility with business outcomes. A contact-button click, a submitted form and a qualified opportunity remain separate measures.

Understanding the service

What do AEO and GEO mean?

AEO stands for answer engine optimisation. GEO stands for generative engine optimisation. Both terms describe work around visibility in answer-led and AI-generated search experiences. Our service defines the actual research, content, technical improvements and reporting involved.

How are AEO and GEO different from traditional SEO?

The foundations overlap. AEO and GEO put additional attention on the questions customers ask through AI-assisted tools, the information available about your business and the answers observed on agreed platforms. The work remains connected to your wider SEO priorities.

Which search features and AI platforms do you cover?

We agree coverage around your customers and target markets. This may include Google’s AI search features and selected tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or Perplexity. Your proposal identifies the platforms assessed, the checking method and the reporting available.

Does our traditional SEO need attention first?

Technical and content problems are addressed within the priorities. For a page to appear as a supporting link in Google’s AI search features, it needs to be indexed and eligible for a search snippet, and the site must be included in those features. Your website does not need a separate AI version.

Technical requirements and measurement

Will structured data get our business into AI answers?

No markup guarantees inclusion. Google does not require special AI schema for its AI search features. We use relevant structured data to describe genuine page information accurately, alongside the wider content and technical work.

Do we need an llms.txt file or a fixed answer length?

Neither is a requirement for Google’s AI search features. We organise content around the subject and the reader’s needs, without forcing every answer into a set word count. Any platform-specific recommendation needs a documented purpose before it becomes part of the work.

How do you measure AEO and GEO performance?

We combine available platform reporting, recorded referral traffic, documented answer checks and enquiry information. Each measure is labelled by source and coverage. Citations, visits and enquiries are reported separately.

Can you guarantee that AI tools will recommend our business?

No. Platforms decide what appears and how it is presented. We commit to the agreed research, improvements and reporting, with findings that show what changed and where further work is needed.
